"Stress Management"

“Any Tension stayed for long causes Stress”

“Worry leads to Tension & Tension leads to Stress”

In today’s fast paced life we all are facing tensions on daily basis, it may be from your family members, from your spouse, from your children, from your boss, from your colleagues, from your subordinates, from your friends or from yourself. You can give yourself stress by thinking unnecessarily. Thinking about past, worrying about future. What will happen if I don’t get good job? What will happen if I don’t get promotion in job? Performance at job? These are unnecessary worries.

If you are facing any of following problems, you are under stress.
• Digestion problem
• High / Low Blood pressure
• Skin disease (Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis etc.)
• Heart problem
• Fat problem
• Insomnia (Loosing your regular sleep)
• Getting angry easily
• Irritation
• Breathing problem

Every human being got tensions/ sorrows, but how soon you come out of these problems is depend upon you. If you have any of above problem, here is some solution for that, you can reduce/ control your Stress very well by using these formulas.

• Manage your time well, time management is the key, if you manage your work in time you can reduce your worries.
• Morning walk/ Physical exercise/ Yoga is must for all age group members, believe me it does wonders.
• Balance your professional life & personal life. Personal life is equally important for any one, if you are happy in your personal life you can achieve milestones in professional life. Give quality time to your spouse, children, parents, friends & other family members.
• Believe in “ULMIGHTY”, whatever is going to happen will be good for me.
• Past is History, Future is Mystery, Live in Present, Present means “Gift”.
• Smile a lot, really it costs nothing.
• Give proper time to your hobbies, it may be sports, music, movies, books, painting or any other activity. Don’t give excuses that you don’t have time. You have to take out some time for your hobbies, at-least for twice or thrice in a week.
• Change yourself or change the situation.
• Make a group of your well wishers/ friends & discuss all your problems/ points on regular basis with them.
• Keep only positive attitude people in your group.
• Remove “Yes Man” from your group, they may be the cause of the Stress in longer way.
• Do meditation, believe me this is the best tool to handle daily life’s Stress.
• Find out the cause of problem, write down multiple possible solutions for the problem as soon as possible, zero down on one, possibly the best solution, act upon that solution immediately & move in your life.
• Talk straight to the concern person & communicate your concerns in proper way.

If you are in a Stress loop & are not able to come out from this loop, try following small things, they worked wonderfully.

• Withdraw from stressful situation, don’t think about the problem right now, give break & think again on problem again after 2-3 hours
• Go for a walk
• Close your eyes, take some deep long breaths
• Get aware about current surrounding, look & feel the things around you, it may be colour on the wall or texture of your table.
• If still you are not able to come out from this loop, use Gibberish language (it’s a nonsense, meaningless & unintelligible language) and say whatever you want to say
• If you like, go to any worship place, spend some time there, you will experience peace
• Live in present, left all worries aside
• Listen your favorite music
• Eat your favorite food
• Read a good book
• Have sex, sex is the best stress buster
• Go to your friends
• Go for a movie
• If possible take a break for few days & go for outing with your family
• Go and play your favorite sport
• Go for a full body massage
• Go to Gym, have thirty minutes workout
• Play with children
• Have a party, sing & dance
• If you need, you can cry also, otherwise laugh & laugh loudly
• “Zindagi zinda dilly ka naam hai, murda dil kya khaak ziya kartey hain”
• “Jo chala gaya usey bhool ja”

At last I want to convey only one thing, for me, morning walk/ physical exercise/ yoga, Meditation & giving time to my hobbies is the key, one of these hobbies is writing, which I just did.

“Hiring a good manpower & making a good team is the key to success for any company”

If you are agree with above points, then why most of employers don’t pay much attention to their employee’s needs, to their growth, to their emotions. Creating a good team is very difficult but loosing it is very easy. As I worked as an employee and a company owner also, I noted some points in my career which can improve employee’s retention, can improve employee’s productivity and give motivation to an employee. You must remember everyone is different and what motivate one person may not motivate others.

• “Thank you”, “Well done”, “Good show”, “Keep it up”, are the most important words any employee love to listen from his superior or employer
• Listen to your employees carefully and pay attention to their problems/ suggestions sincerely
• Involve employees in decisions that directly affect them. They have a need to belong, make them feel like they are an important part of your business.
• Praise your employee for every big or small achievement; this makes them feel valuable and valued.
• Create a core team for all important decisions in your company
• Make your employees part of your business, give percentage of profit to your core team
• Arrange discount coupons, movie tickets, restaurant passes, sports event passes and give it to your employees on every single goal/ target achievement
• Your employees are equally partner in your success, respect them
• Walk your talk, lead by example: do what you say you are going to do and keep all your promises.
• Show employee the growth path in your company
• Create a playful environment
• Regular reviews gives opportunity to an employee, to interact with their seniors
• Provide trainings for employees; offer them opportunity to improve themselves.
• Don’t shy in giving Credit to the appropriate employee/ team for achieving any goal.
• When delegate any work, delegate completely, keep watch from distance, don’t interfere, take review on regular basis
• Ask your employee what non-monetary rewards they would like to have and if possible provide them
• Meet your key employees on regular basis
• Meet your all employees in a get-together on quarterly basis, have lunch with them and let them know what is going on in the company.
• Don’t evaluate all your employees only on their monitory achievement
• Offer rewards for good ideas, if any idea provide monitory benefit to company, give a share to employee also
• Be sympathetic to personal problems of your employees
• Remember Birthdays, Marriage Anniversary of your employees. A Greeting Card can do wonders.
• Praise/ encourage your employees in front of other employees
• Don’t hire those employees who wants only pay hike
• Don’t let go any employee, try to find out why he/ she is putting papers

Believe me, a transparent environment of trust, respect, faith and mutual understanding can do wonders and you can retain your good team for long.
